  I think it definitely was! Before I went to university I didn’t have any skills that would let me do an interesting job, and so I would have to just work in an office all day, which I found quite boring. Going to uni let me learn new, science skills so I could go and work in a laboratory! I also met my wife and my best friends at uni!
