• Question: is it repetitive or is it usually something different

      The work can be repetitive if you need to do a number of similar experiments but I have three project s on the go each very different so that keeps it interesting.

      Sometimes, for instance when I have to do the same calculation lots of times to check it’s correct. However my job involves doing lots of different things, so I don’t get bored.

      Sometimes, a single experiment can get repetitive, but throughout a week, I do different experiments, and different models, and have to solve different problems… I’m never bored! 😀

      It can be repetitive, when you’re trying to prove that your experiment wasn’t a fluke, but I still think it’s worth it, it’s not as repetitive as a lot of the other jobs I’ve had.

      Tbh it can get repetitive sometimes. In my research, once I have a working method, I have to process my samples. To get consistent results, this means doing the same thing for each sample. But once that project is complete, I then move onto a new one, which involves an entirely new method. So I do get variation too.
