  Our Sun can’t turn into a black hole because it is no heavy enough. Black holes form when truly massive stars, about 100 times the size of the Sun, die and collapse.
  
  However, if there was a black hole where the Sun is, then the Earth would orbit it and slowly move towards it. Eventually it would get sucked it and crushed to an infinitely small size. We certainly wouldn’t be alive long!!
