      No. I’m a theoretical physicist so I do calculations rather than experiments. I work in an office using either a computer or pen and paper.

      Yes – but it’s not like a lab you’d imagine, the lab IS the laser!

      Yes for part of the time I do. The other half is at my desk or working on different analytical equipment

      Yup! Most of the time anyway, I have to keep my cells alive and analyse the packets in a different lab with the laser.

      Yes I spend most of my time in the lab, doing chemistry and experiments.
