I don’t know. I’m not an expert on dinosaurs (or the evolution of life on Earth).

Well, we now know that a lot of dinosaurs had feathers! So that part of it was missed out of the films, but I think paleontologists didn’t find that out until after the first film. But everything else about their behaviours was just guesswork, and what would scare their audience.

As for could we live in harmony with them? I doubt it, humans are pretty horrible to animals right now, we kill sharks and whales, elephants and rhinos for silly reasons, I bet some people would do that to dinosaurs too, especially if they were dangerous to us.

Jurassic park dinos were designed back in 1995 and they were pretty true to what was thought at the time. However, since then palaeontology has moved on and changed but they keep the dinos the same as in the original film to show they are Jurassic Park dinos.

So the answer is yes, then no.

As for the second part, same as we live with other animals, is they threaten humans they would be killed. but if they stayed away or learned to live with us then Maybe. Though people woudl still hunt them for trophies.

I just love picturing T-rexes looking like giant chickens with colourful feathers – makes them a lot less scary 😀

I really wish it was realistic. Sadly the prospect of bringing dinosaurs back to life is pure fantasy.

The film did get a lot of things correct though, which was good because it inspired many people to be interested in dinosaurs
