• Question: Do you know every element on the periodic table?

      Nope! Although I wish I could – I have a friend that can sing the Elements Song (by Tom Lehrer), which is REALLY impressive.

      No. Even when I was studying Chemistry A-level I didn’t know all of them. I do know some unusual ones though, for instance W=Tungsten, because dark matter detectors are made of it.

      No not at all, I share an office with chemists and they have the Periodic table printed above their desk, so even my Chemist researchers don’t know it off by heart.

      No way!! I used to be able to name the first 20 elements when I did my A Level chemistry but not now.

      PS. I have a Periodic Table in every lab book, and two displayed at my desk. Just so I don’t have to remember it anymore haha 😉
