      Do you mean diseases? It’s because we’re incredibly complex and complicated animals, we have so many different types of cells and proteins in our body, it only takes one type to go wrong to cause a disease!

      Also, many diseases are caused by tiny tiny living things (like bacteria, viruses or funghi) – and just as many different types of animals have evolved, so have many different types of those tiny organisms!
