• Question: what was your favourite thing about science in school??

      The thing I liked best was using maths to understand things in Physics. I like doing maths, but prefer it when there’s a reason for doing it, which is why I studied Physics at University.

      I always kept asking my teachers questions. My favourite answer always was: “nobody knows yet” because that meant ONE OF US, the students, could one day work it out!

      I did also like learning new things, but the idea of something MORE always got me excited 😀

      I loved learning new things about how the body works, it’s a mystery machine that lets me eat, sleep, run and think, and I loved learning about how little bits like brain cells work.

      I used to love the experiments in chemistry like dropping sodium into water or setting magnesium alight.
