      A scientist, that works on lasers! 😉

      It’s a good question! My job involves all kinds of things – from creating computer models of lasers, through testing different parts out in the lab to actually building a huge laser. I have to think about stuff like what mirrors and lenses to use, how to safely make it more efficient and more powerful… but it’s also a team effort, with a few laser scientists working together on it!

      I guess that’s a thing about scientists that I didn’t realise before becoming one: I’m not just a crazy person in a room on my own blowing stuff up, there are more of us figuring things out together! (…but I am a little crazy too ^_^’)
