• Question: if there are billions of stars in the sky why can we only see a few

      Yes there are billions, in fact trillions of stars out there. But there is also a lot of dust in space and this blocks of the light of most stars. Only the stars that are closest to us are able to shine through the dust. The light from the other stars is too dim (because they’re far away) and the dust blocks it.
